Please help grow the number of Green Councillors on CaldeRdale Council
Calderdale Green Party has three brilliant hard-working councillors based in Northowram and Shelf ward. The next local elections here are in 2026 when all seats will be up for election. We have big plans to get more Green councillors elected to stand up for local communities and our precious environment. But we need your help to fund the 2026 campaign.
Councillor Martin Hey writes:
‘We’ll be campaigning all through 2025 with the aim of increasing the number of Green Party councillors at the next local elections in 2026. If successful, we will be able to really start influencing decision-making across Halifax and the Calder valley in just over a year’s time.
To do so, we’re dependent on your donations – the more resources we have, the greater the number of wards we can compete in. Many local members now pledge a monthly amount to Calderdale Green Party — your local party — to support our local councillors, and to help us campaign for more local councillors.’
