Congratulations to our Green councillors for putting forward a motion of support for a wealth tax which Calderdale Council voted to support. The Council will now write to the Chancellor, Prime Minister and the local Labour MPs, urging them to tax the mega rich more to fund public services.
It just shows the difference Greens in the Town Hall make and why we need to get more Green councillors elected!
