I have lived in Triangle since 1982 and would love to represent the people of Sowerby and the Ryburn Valley on the Council. My background is in teaching, advice giving and advocacy for people with mental distress.
I would like to see the Council move on with making a walking and cycling route up the valley to encourage active travel and reduce road congestion.
I am concerned as we all are about the threat to air quality posed by the incinerator plans at Belmont and would speak up for big improvements in waste collection and access to recycling, which could help prevent fly tipping.
Ryburn Valley needs a voice for the environment, and our Green policies would help form better approaches to problems we face in the future.
