Angela Street - Green Party Candidate for Illingworth and Mixenden May 2018
I have lived in Mixenden for eight years with my two children and my husband, and prior to that in Illingworth for seven years. Both my children attended a local primary school where I served as an active school governor for three years. I am honoured and delighted to be your Green Party candidate for the local council election in May. As your candidate, I will make myself available via email, carry out surveys and hold meetings with residents, giving them the opportunity to air their concerns about the local area and tell me what they want from me if I were to be elected as your local councillor. ‘I will always listen to the residents of Illingworth and Mixenden, and will speak up and campaign for an improvement in local services and amenities so they can be accessible to ALL residents, work with the PCSO's with an aim to tackle and reduce local crime rates, and clean up and enhance the beautiful green space that surrounds the area of Illingworth and Mixenden.
